Welcome to the new and improved Guernsey Basketball website with more features, information and updates from around the globe. All the latest GBA news will be available online including fixtures, results and stats as well as our upcoming events. Our new “overseas watch” feature will give updates on how our players are performing in the UK both at University and in National League competition and there is also a new section for downloads which includes everything you need to know about registering and playing in the Legis Guernsey Basketball Leagues.
2011 / 2012 is going to be a great year for Guernsey Basketball as we take a break from the pressures of National League and Island Games competition. Developing the sport and bringing it to the forefront of the Guernsey public is of great importance and projects that are currently underway such as “Future Stars” and a new Summer League should wet the appetite over the next few months.
The Legis Group continue to sponsor the leagues and we are extremely grateful for their support which allows us to not only run the league efficiently but help fund the various Referees and Table Officiating courses as well as provide backing for the junior development initiatives the GBA undertakes.
